1 December 1940 - Western Junction
No 406084 - LAC McCabe G.W. training discontinued. Recommended for remuster to Air Crew II (O).
2 December 1940 - Western Junction
No 2350 Sergt Scascighini J.E. reported for duty as Flying Instructor. S.L. E.L. Chapman, President; Flt/Lt R.F.M. Green and Flt/Lt Gardiner, members of Court Martial, Flt/Lt Barnaby, Judge Advocate arrived by civil airliner from Melbourne.
3 December 1940 - Western Junction
F/O Campbell arrived by civil airliner from Hobart (Member of Court Martial).
Court martial heard charges against No 406081 LAC Oglesby J and No. 406116 LAC Ross S.E.
4 December 1940 - Western Junction
President and members of Court Martial depart by civil airliner. No. 406183 LAC Lyster W.R. - training discontinued. Remuster to Air Crew II (O).
6 December 1940 - Western Junction
One Tiger Moth A17-116 arrived from Laverton by boat. Aircraft strength now 27.
9 December 1940 - Western Junction
No. 33230 Sergt Green A.H. and No 2470 Sgt Morris N.E.I. granted Commissions as Pilot Officer as from October 7, 1940.
10 December 1940 - Western Junction
Sentence of Court Martial confirmed and promulgated to the accused. Sentences were:
LAC Rose -- 30 days detention
LAC Oglesby -- 28 days detention.
Wing Commander Poole, Southern Area Engineer Officer visited station.
11 December 1940 - Western Junction
No 400515 LAC Bird F.N. and No 406174 LAC Durkin J.H. - training discontinued.
Flying Officer C.H. Simpson posted No 9 EFTS Cunderdin to command. No 406084 LAC McCabe G.W. posted No 1 ITS Remustered Aircrew II(O).
12 December 1940 - Western Junction
No 5 (P) Course departes for No 1 SFTS - 19 trainees. No 7 (P) Course reports from No 1 ITS - 30 trainees.
13 December 1940 - Western Junction
No 7 (P) Course commence flying training.
17 December 1940 - Western Junction
