No 407226 LAC Dunstone C.C. and No 406110 LAC Moignard S.A. training discontinued.
7 November 1940 - Western Junction
Squadron Leader T Anthony, 6 R.C. Hobart relief for Flight Lieutenant R Greenlees who reported sick.
Four Tiger Moths in change Flight Lieutenant D.W. Kingwell arrived this Unit from Laverton via Yanakie and Whitemark. One aircraft, Pilot Flight Lieutenant F.V. Sharpe turned back to Yanakie, faulty engine.
Flight Lieutenant Reid, 1 R.C. Melbourne attached this Unit pending return to duty of Flight Lieutenant R Greenlees.
Squadron Leader Anthony returned to Hobart by air.
12 November 1940 - Western Junction
No 407224 LAC Crump B.K. transferred to No 6 (P) Course owing to illness.
14 November 1940 - Western Junction
25 aircrew (P) No 4 Course departed for No 1 SFTS Point Cook.
No 407226 LAC Dunstone C.C. and No 406110 LAC Moignard S.A. remustered air crew II (O) and posted to No 1 ITS.
Following Officers posted to No 8 EFTS :- Flying Officer S Devine, Flying Officer S.R. Barrey.
30 aircrew II (P) posted this Unit to No 6 (P) Course and commenced training.
17 November 1940 - Western Junction
Squadron Leader G.K.K. Buscombe on leave. Flight Lieutenant W.E. Townsend temporary Commanding.
19 November 1940 - Western Junction
A.O.C. Southern Area (Air Commodore H.N. Wrigley) accompanied by Air Commodore A.T. Cole inspect station.
20 November 1940 - Western Junction
Aircraft casualty T5412. No. 33230 Sergt A.H. Green, Instructor and No 406181 LAC Lillie G.D., trainee crashed on landing. No injuries to personnel.
Flight Lieutenant R Greenlees returned to duty. Flight Lieutenant Reid ceased attachment.
21 November 1940 - Western Junction
Flying Officer C.H. Simpson attached Southern Area pending formation of No. 9 EFTS Cunderdin.
25 November 1940 - Western Junction
Squadron Leader G.K.K. Buscombe returned from leave. Flight Lieutenant W.E. Townsend ceased to be temporary commanding.
28 November 1940 - Western Junction
Aircraft casualty T5360, No 400515 LAC Bird, F.N. crashed on landing. No injury to personnel.

NOTES. (i) Contractors still at work on the buildings.
(ii) On five full days and five half days during this month, flying training was not carried out owing to adverse weather conditions.
