3 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Conference with C.E. D.W.O and A.W.O at Army Rear Headquarters, Adelaide River on sealing programme.
4 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
F/O T. McFARLANE departed by air to MELBOURNE to arrange convoy of low loaders from Melbourne.
COOMALIE Strip occupied by 31 Squadron.
5 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Sealing of Livingstone to 81' wide completed. Gravelling of taxiways and inserts on STRAUSS, HUGHES and LIVINGSTONE and of Bomb Dump road HUGHES completed
9 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Crusher Plant and party departed NOONAMAH for KATHERINE.
11 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Instructions received to complete SATTLER as soon as possible.
14 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Minister for Air, Chief of Air Staff, Secretary for Air Board and Air Officer Commanding attended Concert and boxing Tournament at No. 1 Flight, Engineering Construction Section at COOMALIE CREEK.
15 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Plant, Transport and 50 personnel from No. 1 Flight, Engineering Construction Section, departed NOONAMAH for GORRIE.
19 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Squadron Leader G.D.B. MAUNDER posted to Ascot Vale, to command WTU.
22 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Medical Section departed for Gorrie.
23 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
Work commenced on new Headquarters Camp site.
27 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
COOMALIE Strip bombed 0530 hours - slight damage done to Southern end of runway.
29 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
F/LT. J.F. KEAYS (A3886) arrived to take over duties of S/L D.G.B. MAUNDER (Engineer duties)
30 November 1942 - NORTH WESTERN AREA
S/L D.G.B. MAUNDER departed by air on posting.
Some scattered storms occurred during the month which did not interfere with works programme.
