1 February 1942 to 28 February 1942 - DARWIN
No records of strength returns, destroyed by enemy action.
3 February 1942 - DARWIN
Wing Commander S. de B. GRIFFITH, AFC, posted from SHQ CANBERRA to command.
19 February 1942 - DARWIN
Air Raid at 0955 hours, much damage was caused to buildings, installations, aircraft on the ground. Comprised dive-bombing and straffing.

Second air raid at 1155 hours. Comprised High-level bombing. Most of the casualties occurred during this raid.
